Neat post cards! Hey, Is Griswold's still there? I do remember seeing this when I used to go to Upland on old 66 (before they put the 210 all the way thru). Old 66 (Foothill Bl.) thru that area is really fun, lots of old signage and things to see! Loved the Train postcards too! Great stuff!

I was in this area, but I was in a hurry and did not find it. I will definitely try again when I have some more time.

Please, if anyone knows,... I was flown out to L.A. for a job interview from my home in Ohio back in early 1970's. We were put up at this location (it had a Motel, swimming pool)---my 5 year old daughter thought it was great---and of course a wonderful restaurant. I've wondered just where it was located ever since, and just now found it. Is it still there? Anyone? (Posted 12/23/07)

Sorry to be so late to the party...
Just happened upon your site looking for something else. Sadly, Griswold's is long gone.
I know a few interesting facts about it but don't want to take up space here. Anyone interested can contact me at enhance01@earthlink.net

I attended a class reunion in 2006 and went to go show my family "Good old Griswold's". The building is still there but it's not Griswold's anymore. We didn't bother to go inside as the new place looked like the menu would be the same as any of a hundred other restaurants.
