I don't know how it looks today. It's been a long time since I was there.

Good news---

This intersection/street in Sonora looks pretty much the same today. The Sonora Inn is still in business; in fact, I've stayed in the second floor room with the balcony where the Sonora Inn sign hangs out in the first picture a couple of times in the past few years.

In the third picture, that great sign for "The Sportsman" is still in place, and you can still purchase a beer and a gun all in one sitting!

I'd recommend a visit to this Gold Country gem of a town whenever you get the chance. I live about an hour away, so I make it up there a few times a year on average.

Take care!
