It always amazes me that for someone who is so iconic and such a beauty, Marilyn must be one who is extremely difficult to capture in art. Very few paintings of her really get her likeness correct. These just miss the boat for me, even the stamp itself. Great post though!

Michael Deas has done some beautiful work... but I think his James Dean portrait looks like him and yet doesn't. If you know what I mean!
