Very nice! We've run a few trips using one of the Chief's Pleasure Dome Lounge cars - #503, the Plaza Santa Fe. It's in great shape and still has the Turquoise Room - the only private dining room on a US train at the time (1953). Only this missing is the silver and turquoise medallion.

Wayne Yetter, the owner has done a fantastic job keeping this car out and about. Of course, he's the hardest working man in the private car biz. Here's a link to some pics of the car --

WOW, what a beautiful locomotive. Those colors! That first photo is just wonderful, I agree with outsidetheberm.

Any shots of the old streamlined loco, I think it was called the 20th Century Limited? One of my faves. Henry Dreyfuss was a genius!

I'm glad you like the pics Major, Dave and OSTB. I haven't found any pictures of the Streamlind 20th Century Ltd. (at least none worth posting). But in the near future I will post some real nice streamlined loco's and coaches.

This particular locomotive was always my favorite as a kid and plays a prominent part in my N gauge collection. Thanks for the photos!

These are the types of EMD F7 Diesel locomotive trains that I had a cross country trip on in 1957
. As a 10 year old kid it was the ultimate trip for me. Forever etched into the mind.
