Newport Beach

From a series of Newport Beach and Balboa area California postcards published by Barrett & Barrett, highlighting some of the paintings from local artist, Steve Simon.

Newport Pier Seafood Restaurant - Located at the end of the Newport Pier landmark, the restaurant serves the finest seafood and cocktails with beautiful ocean views.

Doryman Fishing Fleet - Since the 1890's, the Newport Beach Pier has been the site of the Doryman Fishing Fleet and a source of fresh seafood.

Balboa Island Ferry - This historical landmark began service in 1909 and makes crossings from Balboa Island to the Peninsula daily.

Balboa Fun Zone - Bordered by the Pavilion and the Ferry, the Fun Zone was refurbished in 1972 and now includes arcades and rides.

Balboa Pavilion - Built in 1906 at the terminus of the Red Car Line, the Balboa Pavilion is noted in the National Register of Historic Places.

These are nice... such a great idea for an artist to paint the local landmarks in SoCal!
