Dry Cleaner Labels

In the 1930's and 40's dry cleaners used these types of labels to advertise their services. When they wrapped up your shirts, blouses or un-mentionables in kraft paper bundles, these labels would seal the ends of the paper.

Labels would also advertise services like fur storage. I don't think there is much of a market for scientific and insured fur storage today!

Neat post! My Great grandparents and great uncles ran a fur shop & storage facility on Wilshire Blvd. back in the teen's thru the 1950's. The whole Fur industry has pretty much gone away. My mom has some incredible fur coats, stoles and hats, but she can't really wear them anywhere so they sit in the closet....
