Whoo hoo! I lived in Huntington Beach when I was a kid (early 70's) and LOVED it. Imagine riding your bike to the beach every day, plus we would just lean our bikes against something, and they would still be there hours later. I have SO many great memories, including climbing the bleachers at Edison High School to watch the Disneyland Fireworks (very far away, but we could see them)!
What a treat! We just moved to Huntington Beach and we are having fun exploring the area. It is really neat to see how the town used to be way back when. Thanks for the great post.
oh thanks for the memories, I didn't carry around a camera when I was a child and lived in HB, so nice to see the old pictures
