The Arkansas and Missouri Railroad is a short line railroad headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas. A&M operates 139.5 miles of line from Fort Smith, Arkansas to Monett, Missouri. A&M interchanges with Kansas City Southern Railway at Fort Smith, with Union Pacific Railroad at Van Buren, Arkansas and with BNSF Railway at Monett, MO.
A branch line connects Bentonville, Arkansas, with the main line at Rogers, Arkansas. A&M also leases 3.2 miles of track (locally known as "the Bottoms") from Union Pacific at Van Buren, and provides haulage services for Union Pacific between Van Buren and the Fort Smith Railroad in Fort Smith.

ALCo C420 - A&M Fort Smith sub MP 415.4, Fort Smith, Arkansas, June 24, 2007 - A&M charter mixed train at the foot of Garrison St., where the Fallen Flags that served this city once called. Frisco, MoPac, and KCS had depots here, the Mopac to the left, Frisco to the right and behind my shoulder, and KCS a block down. Today the Ft. Smith RR office is seen in the distance and the A&M terminates here.
A&M Caboose - A&M Fort Smith sub MP 395.2, Lancaster, Arkansas, June 24, 2007 - Due to the Herculean efforts of the A&M forces to rehab this ex-Reserve Mining caboose in time, the mixed train sponsored by the A&M RR and the Boston Mtn. Chapter NRHS had "the look" crossing Frog Bayou.
