Interesting, the hardtops..
Nice post Richard, if you can find any of these as convertables, you are really talking some $eriou$ dollars.
Bought a '68 GTO convertable a few years back for a contest giveaway, it was a #2, in collector parlance that means you can drive it and from 15' away it looks like a #1..
(a #1 you would only show..no FUN)
Those are some amazingly great illustrations... the guys who specialized in car ads could do remarkable things with gouache and a brush (and maybe a little help with an airbrush).
