The '51 is downright beautiful. :) Looks the Mr. Gillette thinks he's talking to the attendant, but the attendant thinks he's talking to the dog, so that's why his co-worker's cuing us in that the attendant has had a tank full!
Meanwhile in '56, Sharky is lookin' to the Sky Chief for that little bit of boost to help him thrill the lady on the way to the hotel er, wherever she says.
The thought of going to a gas station and being helped by uniformed attendants is so alien in today's world. Definitely one of the things that makes "yesterday" so appealing.
