Wow, I love these. Wouldn't you love to have that sign on the last card?? I remember the smell of roasting peanuts at the L.A. Farmer's Market.... mmmmm!

Major, can you image how cool it would be to own a sign like that. I remember when I was in New York City in 1957. The truly "GIANT" Planters sign that was in Times Square. It was amazing!

VERY nice! Are there any Planters stores out there anymore? I remember nuts rotating on a turntable under heat lamps at the Sears candy counter back in the day.

I don't know for sure if they are still out there TokyoMagic!. But I doubt that they are.

Somehow I don't think a whole store dedicated to roasted peanuts are a roadside attraction any more... except maybe in Georgia.

The Richmond location has held a succession of restaurants, the latest, Don Pedro's Mexican Restaurant.

The site and building looks the same.

That second image is the same as the Planters store that was located in Raleigh NC.The building still stands
